Srinagar, February 01 (KNO) : Two boys sustained injuries after a grenade went off accidentally in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Friday. Official sources told KNO that the boys identified as Sharafat Bashir and Junaid Bilal were playing with a grenade when it went off, leaving them grievously wounded. The incident took place in Rohama village of Pulwama district, they said, adding the duo was rushed to Public Health Centre (PHC) Rohama wherefrom they were shifted to DH Pulwama. However, sources said that one among the injured was shifted to SKIMS here for specialized treatment. Meanwhile, Medical Superintendent SKIMS, Dr. Farooq Jan told KNO that the condition of injured youth is critical and has been out on ventilator. “We are constantly monitoring his situation as his condition is very critical,” he said.
